01 Who is responsible
Bank Statement Converter is the data controller for the personal data processed through this service. If you have any questions about how your data is handled, contact our privacy team at [email protected].
02 What we process & why
- Statement files you upload — processed solely to produce your converted output, then deleted (typically within one hour).
- Account details such as name and email — to operate your account and provide support.
- Usage data — to secure and improve the service. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests and, where required, your consent.
03 How long we keep it
Uploaded files and their converted output are deleted automatically after processing. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as required by law.
04 International transfers
Where data is processed outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure it stays protected.
05 Right to complain
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We'd appreciate the chance to resolve it first — please reach out to us.
